  • For those who can't quite see it, it's 46°C in the sun today. Bit of an epic job, especially as we've not touched it since 2017! Quite a bit of growth to deal with but since then it's finally meshed in and grown into its own gaps. I think you'll agree one of the best back garden views. We managed to find a nice shady spot of lunch. Just waiting for Russel Crowe to walk through the long grass muttering something to himself. Not tree related today but whoever did this needs a pat on the back @mrbean Lots of variety on this job, amongst whats pictured we had a crown reduction on a Rowan we did near 8 years ago, reduction of a laurel hedge which we did 10 years ago, annual trimming of Hawthorn hedges and the clearance of bramble and nettles behind the boundary fence. All in all should keep our customer happy for a while. To anyone travelling through Newthorpe along the B6010 (Moorgreen) we apologise for the inconvenience along the road again today. We've made our work site on the road smaller today to try and aid with passing. Many years ago we considered this a big fell. Not today; saw starts, everyone in place and down on the ground in less than 10 minutes. No one likes a fly tipper. Good job we came along. Did someone say mowing? Good, because we do that too.
